Texas Baptist Men Incident Command Trailer

Numerous  Southern Baptist DR units activated along with hundreds of SBDR volunteers mobilizing to provide services in the aftermath of hurricanes Gustav and Ike along the gulf coast.  As of September 26th, more than 3 million meals had been served,  nearly 30 thousand showers provided along with laundry cleaning, child care, repairs, mud-out operations, chainsaw jobs and other ministry needs. The photos below are just some of the many volunteers who help providing their skills and knowledge to make the Southern Baptist Disaster Relief efforts a success.

The two photos below show MARS team members setting up their equipment at Baton Rouge, LA to support operations there with HF, VHF and MARS Airmail traffic.
