The Oklahoma communications volunteer base and possible communications unit is  newly formed and is in development.

At this time we have equipment in our big feeding unit (not too photogenic). We have an HF rig, 2m, KW amp and Antenna tuner on board. I am making a carrying case for some of my equipment (a rapid response type kit). When I get done I’ll send photos. Later I hope to duplicate it with disaster relief owned equipment. There is also consideration for a full Incident Command / Communications trailer. It all depends on finances. Our Ham base has dropped through the years and I’m trying to rejuvenate it. There are only about 4 or 5 hams that are in position to deploy.
